Glen Estate is in the Scottish Borders where the Border Reivers, the infamous cattle rustlers, once roamed. I have lived here all my life. Growing up in Scotland will always be special. The Glen has 33,000 acres to roam around in. When I was younger, I could spend hours searching for fairies among the ferns and the sweet-scented pine trees.
There is a waterfall 40 minutes walk away from where I live on the estate. It is an off-track k road hidden among a small cluster of oak trees with ferns scattered around. The water that trickles down the rock is crystal clear. It is the most appealing thing my eyes have ever seen. Just beside it is Loch Eddie where calm and peaceful water lies. I often sit on the small jetty and watch the fish leap and splash. The Glen will always have a special place in my heart.
